Peter Marott is known from many collaborations on the Danish jazz scene and now steps forward with his own compositions - written during a period of deep reflection and contemplation.

On stage he is accompanied by Martin Schack (Hammond organ), Regin Fuhlendorf (guitar) and Morten Ærø (drums).

About the venue: Brønshøj Kulturhus

BRØK - Brønshøj Kulturhus opened in August 2024 in the renovated Brønshøj Gamle Skole, a building from 1901 right next to Brønshøj Torv. The house has a performance hall for concerts, theatre, film and talks, along with workshops for ceramics, textiles and visual arts. It is run by the City of Copenhagen and partly replaces the former Kulturhuset Pilegården.

About: Martin Schack

A west Jutland jazz figure rooted in Ribe, Schack plays piano and Hammond B3 across a repertoire ranging from hard bop to Danish folk songs. He brings a track record of touring Asia and Europe with American jazz stars, alongside years of work as an arranger and educator.
