From Coconut Carpet to Blue Tones with Stefan Rasmussen

Former airline captain Stefan G. Rasmussen has spent years touring the country with philosophical reflections on life and its peculiarities.

In the lecture "From Coconut Mat to Blue Tones", he draws on the emergency landing of SAS flight SK751 in 1991, where all 129 people on board survived. That event turned his life upside down: from an anonymous pilot to an acclaimed hero. He speaks openly about what the sudden fame also brought with it of hardship, and he explores time and reality drawing on his childhood and his adventurous life. At 44, he faced death - and afterwards chose a new life rather than continuing on the same path.

Throughout the lecture, he seasons it with tones from his saxophone and his singing voice.
