Description was written before the event

BIBLIOTEKET on Rentemestervej hosts a Children's Festival - a tradition now 16 years old. The festival is free and requires no registration.

The programme features theatre, workshops and music:

From 10:00-10:30 Klovnevenner performs in the foyer on the ground floor (from age 3), and from 10:00-14:00 there is a Family Workshop in B&U. From 10:45-11:15 Monster Teater holds an interactive Fairy Workshop in the hall, and from 11:30-12:00 Dubaduba performs a concert in the foyer on the ground floor.

At 12:00 the day concludes - and all children receive a children's book to take home.

About the venue: BIBLIOTEKET Rentemestervej

BIBLIOTEKET on Rentemestervej opened in 2011 as Denmark's first fully integrated library and cultural centre. Designed by COBE, Transform and Brd. Andersen, the building is instantly recognisable by its four offset golden boxes, shaped like a stack of books - a landmark in the Nordvest district. Under one roof it brings together children's, youth and adult libraries, creative workshops, a flexible theatre hall, citizens' services and a café. The programme spans concerts, theatre, film screenings and literary events for all ages.
