DR Book Club

DR Novel Club meets at Aabenraa Library seven times from November to May to read and discuss six new Danish novels, all nominated for the DR Novel Prize. A facilitator who has read the books guides conversations about both major narratives and small details.

Participants have real influence on the prize: once all books are read, each member sends their three favorites to the editorial team, who decides the winner. Meetings are held on Thursdays from 10:00 to 11:30.

Meeting dates: 12/11 (opening meeting, where the first book is distributed), 10/12, 14/1, 11/2, 11/3, 8/4, and 6/5.

Free entry, but registration is required by 30 October - places are limited, and the club requires a minimum of 5 participants. Registration opens 4 August at 10:00.
