Denmark as a Surveillance Society — Aabenraa Bibliotek, Aabenraa

Denmark has over one million surveillance cameras, extensive digital monitoring, and continuous registration of virtually all our activities. What does this mean for our daily lives, our culture, and democracy - and what risks and opportunities does it bring?

These are the questions Peter Lauritsen addresses. He holds degrees in humanistic informatics and sociology from Aalborg University and is a professor of surveillance studies at the Department of Information Science, Aarhus University, with a broader interest in digitalization and democracy.

The "Student" ticket applies to students, pupils, apprentices, and young people under 30 receiving transfer income. Ticket sales open on August 4 at 10:00.
