Author Lecture: Kim Fupz Aakeson

In 'Skyggen foran mig' (The Shadow Before Me), we follow a man released from prison after many years - without a passport, health insurance card, or digital ID. All he has is a plan to walk far, all the way to the End of the World. The novel traces his story across three timelines: before, during, and after his imprisonment, exploring guilt, shame, forgiveness, grief, faith, and social inheritance.

Kim Fupz Aakeson will discuss the book's creation, including interviews with inmates and his own pilgrimage walk undertaken as research. There will be an opportunity to ask the author questions.
