Embroidery Workshop at Munkeruphus: Thursday 15 October 2026, 11:00–16:00, Munkeruphus, Dronningmoelle. Tickets cost 280 kr.

Join embroidery artists Anette Hjuler, Eli Løken, and Susanne Grue for a full-day workshop on Thursday, October 15, 2026, from 11:00 to 16:00 at Munkeruphus Væksthus, Munkerup Strandvej 78, 3120 Dronningmølle.

The workshop draws inspiration from Munkeruphus' embroidered banner by the roadside. After an introduction to materials and a look at the banner, each participant receives an embroidery kit with hemp fabric, plant-dyed wool yarn, and needles. The fabric comes pre-drawn with a motif of a letter and a flower, so you can start right away. You'll work with hemp and plant-dyed wool, choosing your own yarn colors under the guidance of the three embroiderers.

In the second part of the workshop, you can draw your own motif on fabric and embroider freehand. Books, fabric samples, and a selection of yarn are available for inspiration. You're also welcome to bring an ongoing project and receive guidance on it. No prior experience is necessary.

The workshop is primarily aimed at adults; children aged 10 and over are welcome with an adult. Places are limited. Lunch and beverages are available for purchase at the café.
