Folk High School Evening: Death

Philosopher Jacob Birkler comes to Aabenraa Library to give a lecture on death - not as a taboo, but as something we can learn to relate to. He draws on his book "How We Learn to Live with Death" and explores how more open language about death can make it easier to take a stand on questions such as active euthanasia, life-prolonging treatment, and the right to a dignified life.

The evening is arranged as a high school evening: songs from the High School Songbook are sung at the beginning and end, and coffee and cake are served during the break.

Registration is required due to catering and must be completed by 26/10 at 14:00. Ticket sales and registration open on 4 August at 10:00.

Note: the "Student" ticket also applies to pupils, apprentices, and young people under 30 on transfer income.
