New Year's Mussels

New Year's Mussels - family day at the harbour: 30 December – 28 December 2026, Middelfart Gammelhavn, Middelfart.

Middelfart Gammelhavn hosts a day celebrating mussels as an alternative to traditional New Year's fare.

The programme includes a look at the state of cod stocks and why they need a break, plus an introduction to how mussels improve water quality. Afterwards, we head to the kitchen to prepare a children's dish with mussels and a simple dish for the New Year's table.
