The Desoto Caucus

The Desoto Caucus performs a live session at Feedback Studiet on September 26. Doors open at 19:00, and the concert runs from 20:00 to 22:00. The entire performance will be recorded and filmed. The bar serves beer, wine, soft drinks, and coffee.

Practical information: There is a doorbell to the left of the mailbox at the main entrance. If the door is closed, it may take up to 30 seconds for someone to come down and unlock it. If no one answers, you can call Magnus at +45 26 63 15 73 or Kathrine at +45 22 85 20 79.

The DeSoto Caucus is the band behind The Medium-rare Sessions in Aarhus, where they spent 9 years presenting a long series of international artists - including Kurt Wagner, Scout Niblett, John Parish, Josh Rouse, and Charlie Sexton. Their collaboration with Isobel Campbell, Mark Lanegan, and M. Ward continued afterwards, and most recently the band reunited with Howe Gelb as Giant Sand on European tours. The band formed when its members took over as Gelb's regular band after Joey Burns and John left the project as Calexico.

They have released 4 albums under their own name, and a new one is on the way - recorded at Magnus Vad's Feedback Studie at Lydhavnen in Aarhus. In the spring there is a European tour, but before that comes the album and several concerts at home.

The DeSoto Caucus consists of: Anders Pedersen (guitar & vocals), Nikolaj Heyman (guitar, organ & vocals), Peter Dombernowsky (drums & percussion), and Henrik Poulsen (bass).
