Guided Bike Tour Along Husum Encienten - Part of Vestvolden

A guided bike tour along Vestvolden in Husum, focusing on Husumencienten and the fortifications at Mørkhøjvej - including the Kaponieren - as well as Kagsmosen and a section of the other defence installations. The tour lasts up to two hours and takes place primarily within the Brønshøj-Husum district.

Historian Morten Lunn shares stories about Vestvolden's history and significance, and about the traces of Copenhagen's old fortifications that can still be seen in the landscape. Lunn lives in Husum and has led tours on Vestvolden for byvandring.nu for several years.

Meeting point: Trappehøjen by Husum Station. The tour ends at Energicenter Voldparken, Kobbelvænget 65, 2700 Brønshøj.
