Autumn Break: Help Bury Margaret I

Margaret I's Burial - Interactive History for Families: 11 October – 18 October 2026, Roskilde Domkirke, Roskilde. Tickets cost 0–80 kr.

Queen Margaret I's earthly remains are on their way to Roskilde Cathedral - and to mark the occasion, the cathedral invites children and adults on a historical treasure hunt through the church to prepare for the reburial of the Queen of the North.

Participants solve tasks along the way and join in when the procession moves through the church. Everything is presented at child height: children get the front row, adults take seats at the back. The tour lasts 45 minutes and is primarily aimed at older children, but all ages are welcome.

Meeting point is Kongeporten. The tour is conducted in Danish, and advance booking is required - check the date for specific times. Price: 60-80 kr. for adults, seniors and students. Children are free.
