Fantasy Academy: Become the Main Character in a Fantasy Story with Mette Finderup

Fantasy Academy with Mette Finderup: Friday 16 October 2026, 12:30–13:30, Hovedbiblioteket, Odense.

Mette Finderup has written over 100 books for children and young adults, including the popular fantasy series A.S.P.E., where four children act as magical spies. She is an avid gamer and experienced role-player, and in this workshop she shares how she uses dice and randomness in the A.S.P.E. series - and what is important to consider when building characters for a book.

You will get to try creating characters based on dice rolls and learn how the creative mind works. A computer is welcome but not necessary.

Ticket sales open on September 21 at 10:00. The workshop takes place in room 3.6, 3rd floor.
