Electric cars, batteries and solar panels depend on raw materials, mining, pollution and global supply chains that we are all part of.

In this lecture, Theis Ørntoft tackles the difficult questions. Does the green transition exist in the form we imagine? What does it cost to hope for a sustainable future? And how do you hold on to hope when the world doesn't fit together as neatly as we would like to believe?

The lecture explores green lies, dark hopes and humanity's attempt to find footing in difficult times.

About the venue: Dalum Bibliotek

Dalum Bibliotek is a public library in the Dalum district of Odense SV, housed in the old town hall. It spans three floors with lending areas, a children's and youth section with a play corner, an event hall on the second floor, and meeting rooms in the basement. There is also a small cinema available to borrow. The library regularly hosts lectures, a film club, reading circles and workshops.
