Create Your Own Hobby Horse - free workshop: Tuesday 13 October 2026, 10:00–13:30, Hovedbiblioteket, Viborg.

Children make their own hobby horse and think about how it can "live" and move in a magical world.

Once the hobby horse is finished, it's time to tame it and test your skills on the jumping course - here children can see how fast their horse can run and challenge each other to a friendly race.

The event is free and requires no registration. Please note that there may be waiting times. Location: Skakbrættet.

About the venue: Hovedbiblioteket

Viborg's main library serves as the central library for Viborg Municipality and heads a network of 20 branch libraries. The building, completed in 1989-1991, was designed by architect Thomas Meedom-Bæch and features artwork by Professor Stig Brøgger. Alongside its book and children's collections, it houses a Makerspace with 3D printers, a laser cutter and VR equipment, an events hall called Skakbrættet, and several meeting rooms. Self-service access is available from 07:00 to 22:00 every day.
