Description was written before the event

The Foundation for the Langeland Art Towers launches the Art Tower Treasure Hunt - a new activity for children and families on Langeland. The launch takes place on Saturday, October 10, 10:00-13:00 at Langeland Library in Rudkøbing.

Children (approximately 3-12 years) can build their own small art tower from a milk carton, inspired by the real Art Towers scattered around the island. All materials are provided on site.

The first 20 families receive a free Art Tower Treasure Hunt to take home - normally 25 kr. Participation is free, and no registration is required.

About the venue: Langeland Bibliotek

Langeland Bibliotek is the main public library in Rudkøbing, serving the whole island through a bookmobile that also calls at Strynø every three weeks. The collection covers books, films, music, e-books and audiobooks, and the building doubles as a study space with free internet and newspapers. The library regularly hosts talks, workshops and literary evenings. A library card is needed to borrow materials, but entry is free with a health card.
