Guided Mushroom Foraging Tour

Guided mushroom foraging tour: Wednesday 14 October 2026, 10:30–13:00, Nybæk Plantage, Løkken. Tickets cost 150 kr.

During the autumn break, nature guide Jakob Kofoed leads participants on a mushroom foraging walk through Nybæk Plantage. Along the way, he shares knowledge about the mushrooms you encounter - with special focus on which are edible and which to avoid. Bring a basket and a small knife if you have them.

The walk concludes at the lodge around 12:00-12:30, where the day's finds are reviewed over a cup of freshly brewed coffee. If you have your own hot drink, that's fine too.

At 12:30, chef Esben Daarbak takes over and prepares three appetizers from the day's mushrooms and other wild ingredients from the forest - served with a glass of Burgundy wine from SuperBrugsen Løkken. Soft drinks and water can be purchased. The programme ends at 13:15.
