Get to Know AI

Get to Know AI - hands-on workshop: Thursday 29 October 2026, 10:00–11:00, Biblioteket i Herning, Herning. Admission is free.

Curious about artificial intelligence but unsure where to start? This event offers an easy-to-understand introduction to AI and language models like ChatGPT. You'll get practical tips for using AI in everyday life - for travel planning, cooking, or creating a creative party invitation with image generation. There's also a focus on crafting good prompts: how to ask questions and have a dialogue with the language model to get the best answers - and why critical thinking remains important when using AI.

From 11:00-12:00 you can continue with hands-on help setting up a profile and trying out language models yourself. Bring your own phone or tablet if you want to join that part.

No technical background required - just curiosity. Free entry, but registration is necessary. Location: Kørner 2.
