In the 1960s, Danish authorities secretly built an atomic bunker where the government and parts of the royal house could lead the country through a nuclear war. The facility was hidden from both the public and the nation's enemies.

REGAN VEST is a self-sufficient underground city 60 meters below ground and several hundred meters inside a chalk cliff. The bunker has 232 rooms and space for 350 people.

Cold War author Karsten Hvam Pedersen tells the story of how the facility was built and operated - including anecdotes and spy stories from the Cold War.
