Niels Krause-Kjær

Niels Krause-Kjær discusses his novel 'Ude for uden' (Out Without), which follows Svend, the son of a farmer, who discovers a travel journal left behind by his deceased father and his father's folk high school friends. The novel weaves past and present together: Svend must navigate a political landscape where agriculture's old narrative still shapes the climate debate and his own career.

Krause-Kjær drew inspiration from his own life and an actual travel journal from the Danish National Archives. At this event, he talks about the novel's creation, with Simon Lund Petersen moderating the conversation.

The event is part of the Climate Town Meeting in Middelfart and takes place on the Turquoise Stage at KulturØ Square.
