Emergency Preparedness: Self-Sufficiency for 3 Days

Emergency Preparedness Workshop - 3 Days: Monday 26 October 2026, 15:30–17:30, Højbjerg Bibliotek, Højbjerg. Admission is free.

When major parts of society are hit by a crisis, emergency services prioritize critical functions like hospitals and care homes. In such a situation, you, your family, and your neighbors must be able to manage on your own in your home for up to three days.

Højbjerg Library will host a visit from the Danish Emergency Management Agency (Beredskabsforbundet), who will explain what can happen and what concrete steps you can take. All participants will receive "My Checklist" - a list based on official recommendations that helps you tailor your home emergency preparedness to your household.
