Wake the Spirits to Life

Wake the Spirits to Life - family adventure: Wednesday 14 October 2026, 13:00–14:00, Børnebiblioteket i Bryggen, Vejle. Admission is free.

In autumn - when the veil between the world of the living and the underground spirits briefly disappears - evidence has been found that spirits have been at play in selected places in and around Vejle and Børkop.

The whole family can join the bog woman on a walk in nature and meet some of the forgotten spirits from old folklore: the water spirit, the will-o'-the-wisp, and the troll. The spirits have slept for many years, but perhaps you can wake them to life and help them - for often there is something they need human help with.

The walk takes place outdoors with storytelling, drama, and small tasks solved together, and lasts approximately 1 hour. Meeting point is the Children's Library in Bryggen.
