Mini-theatre and Drawing Workshop with Thomas Knappe (Schools Only) - Cloned

Mini-theatre and Drawing Workshop with Thomas Knappe: Thursday 3 December 2026, 10:00–10:30, Vejle Bibliotek - Spinderiet, Vejle. Admission is free.

Thomas Knappe's monster-hunter book comes to life as a mini-theatre production, followed by a drawing workshop for school classes. After the workshop, the class can stay to eat packed lunches and explore the new children's library. This event is for schools only.

The mini-theatre lasts 20 minutes and draws on Thomas Knappe's universe. The monster hunter must be prepared for the hunt by visiting the village shops, and the audience helps choose weapons, elixirs, potions and packed lunches. The children are active participants in the performance.

The drawing workshop lasts 45 minutes. Monsters are terrorizing the land, and the children must prepare the monster hunter to stop them. First they choose which monster to hunt, then they decide what weapons and equipment the hunter needs.

Entry is free. The event takes place at the children's library, which has space for 60 children per session. When booking tickets, you must book for all participants, both children and adults, and provide the school name and year group.

This event is part of the opening programme for ENGEN - Kulturhus og Bibliotek.
