How do we create a society where more people can participate? That question is the starting point for this lecture with Christian Groes, who presents autism, ADHD and other diagnoses as natural mental variations rather than deviations - illustrated through new research, personal stories and examples from fieldwork in the Amazon rainforest.

The lecture takes place in Middelfartsalen and is free for young people under 28 years old. It is arranged in collaboration with UngeLiv as part of K7 - Culture Week for Young People.

About the venue: Biblioteket på KulturØen

Biblioteket på KulturØen is the main library of Middelfart Kultur & Bibliotek, housed in the KulturØen building since it opened in 2005. The building was designed by architect John Lassen of Schmidt Hammer Lassen and sits on an artificial island by the Lillebælt strait. The library spans two floors - children and young people on the ground floor, adults above - and was thoroughly redesigned in 2016 by Rosan Bosch Studio. The same building also contains Panorama Biografen, a restaurant and tourist information.
