Art Printing, Plant Collection & Herbarium

Plant collection and herbarium workshop: Thursday 15 October 2026, 16:30–19:30, Kunstbygningen I Vrå - Engelundsamlingen, Vrå. Tickets cost 350 kr.

The workshop "Art Printing, Plant Collection & Herbarium" is a site-specific exploration of nature around Kunstbygningen in Vrå - Engelundsamlingen, arranged as part of the exhibition FLORA MEMORIA by Nathalie Dahl from Von Linné Studio.

The day is divided into three parts: first, participants go out on the grounds and in the nearby landscape to collect plants of the season. Next, the plants are identified using classical plant books and modern digital methods. Finally, each participant mounts their plants with classical herbarium labels and notes, and places them in pressing layers of recycled paper and absorbent sheets - the result is a small herbarium to take home.

No prior knowledge is required, only curiosity. Along the way, a sandwich, wine/beer/water, and coffee and tea are served. The total price includes refreshments and your own herbarium.
