Guided Shared Reading: Literary Preparedness Plan - Climate

Guided shared reading on climate: Wednesday 11 November 2026, 09:30–11:30, Biblioteket i Herning, Herning. Admission is free.

Biblioteket i Herning hosts a series of guided shared reading sessions meeting four times from week 41 to 45. The series is part of the thematic collaboration "Together on Preparedness" - a partnership between DR, Østifterne, Danske Folkeoplysnings Samråd, and Bibliotekerne.

Each session features readings from literary texts followed by discussion based on a new theme:

1. Love - 21 October
2. Body - 28 October
3. Conflict - 4 November
4. Climate - 11 November

The thematic collaboration frames preparedness in a broader perspective: not only as something practical, but also as something social, mental, and cultural - how we understand crises, talk about them, and help each other when everyday life is challenged.
