The Water Tower Whispers

Brønshøj Water Tower has stood since 1928 - and according to this story, there is a mystery that never reached its conclusion. On Culture Night Friday, October 9th, 18:00-24:00, the tower opens its doors for an interactive audio walk where participants must uncover what really happened.

With headphones on, you move through the water tower's column room in a dramatized audio story. Each participant gets their own role and their own information - you might be a journalist, perhaps a forensic pathologist - and not everyone hears the same thing. The mystery only begins to make sense when you gather your clues and solve the tasks together.

Light, scenography, music and sound frame the historic space. The experience is created by the audio duo Lydløst in collaboration with BRØK and the Brønshøj Water Tower Association, and was developed specifically for Culture Night 2026.

Each participant must bring a smartphone and headphones. The event is aimed at young people, adults and families with children from 11 years old.
