Taste the Season: Roots: Tuesday 20 October 2026, 17:30–20:00, Salling ROOFTOP, Caféen, Aalborg. Tickets cost 295 kr.

On October 20, Salling ROOFTOP hosts an evening celebrating autumn's root vegetables. Upon arrival at 17:30, guests are welcomed with a glass of sparkling wine, followed by a three-course menu prepared by the kitchen.

Menu for the evening:

First course:
Beetroot carpaccio with goat cheese crumble, marinated apple slices, roasted salted nuts, balsamic glaze and fresh herbs
Crostini with celeriac cream, crispy serrano ham and pickled onions

Second course:
Parsnip purée with braised pork, crispy crackling and braising sauce
Glazed carrots with herb crumble and watercress

Third course:
Plum trifle with sweet plums, airy vanilla cream and crispy crumble

Additional beverages can be purchased at the bar, which closes at 19:30. The price is 295 kr. per person including menu and welcome sparkling wine. Seating is limited.
