Listen to the Sky - children's concert: 16 January – 17 January 2027, Krudttønden, Copenhagen. Tickets cost 50 kr.

In the sky there is neither beginning nor end - just sky, clouds, birds, and sometimes a hat blown away in a storm. Two tailor rabbits emerge from the hat, and with them we embark on a journey through the heavens, for the rabbits are searching for something... But what? They're not quite sure themselves.

This narrative concert is a collage of storytelling and classical music, performed live on stage by Louise Schrøder, Karen Duelund Guastavino, and Marie Priem. Along the way we listen to the rain of clouds in Chopin's Raindrop Prelude and the sun's rays in Lili Boulanger's Hymne au soleil. We meet the Magic Cat and the Sky Queen at the heavenly castle and venture out into the universe, where Arvo Pärt's Spiegel im Spiegel fills the space with the empty sounds of infinity.

Finally we slide down the rainbow and land in the Paper Forest, where the last sacred heaven tree will take root and become the first of many. The story is full of golden bell flowers and birdsong - and along the way the tailor rabbits sew a magic cloak with magic pockets and find a pair of enormous rubber boots. Could they be God's rubber boots?
