Læselopper - an offer for 1-3 year-olds

Læselopper is aimed at the youngest children - ages 1 to 3 - and their caregivers: parents, grandparents, childminders, and others. The programme is free, and each session lasts approximately 30 minutes.

A children's librarian opens a language suitcase with the day's theme, and together you sing, listen to stories, and use your body actively. Children also have time to play with the props brought along. When the programme ends, there is space for free play, book borrowing, and packed lunches at the library.

The content is based on six curriculum themes: holistic personal development, social development, communication and language, body/senses/movement, nature/outdoor life/science, and culture, aesthetics and community.

The event rotates between Hedensted, Juelsminde, and Tørring Libraries, every Tuesday 9:30-10:00:
