Repair Café: Embroidery Workshop

Learn the essential stitches of freehand embroidery, necessary equipment, and tips and tricks for using embroidery as a visible repair method. Needles, embroidery thread, and practice fabric will be provided. Both beginners and experienced embroiderers are welcome.

You are welcome to bring damaged or torn clothing. There is no guarantee you will finish embroidering your piece, but you can get advice on whether embroidery is a suitable repair method and what approach is recommended.

Free, but registration is required. Limited spaces; registration opens 14 August at 10:00.
