An hour of quiet reading with classical music as a backdrop - that's the concept behind Silent Reading at Biblioteket Slagelse. Librarian Pernille is happy to help you find something to read if you arrive without a book.

The doors open at 16:30, where you choose your book in the lounge. From 16:45 to 17:45 you read in silence with classical music in the background, and from 17:45 there is an opportunity to discuss what you've read. The event ends at 18:15.

Coffee is included if you bring your own cup - otherwise it costs 10 kr. Participation is free, and you sign up on an ongoing basis for each date. Registration opens on 14 August at 10:00.

Autumn dates: 8/10, 27/10, 12/11, 24/11 and 10/12.
