The single-room library houses a children's section, study spaces and a Borgerservice (citizen services) desk, and serves as a community hub for residents of Lystrup, Elsted and Elev. As an "Open Library", it can be accessed by self-service outside staffed hours. The local history archive Lystrup-Elsted-Elev-Nye Lokalhistoriske Samling is also based here, open on Mondays.
