Bellis Embroidery Walk

Embroidery Walk with Dorte Wahlberg: Sunday 18 October 2026, 11:00–13:00, Kulturbodega Bellis, Aarhus. Tickets cost 200 kr.

An embroidery walk around the Bellis neighbourhood. With needle and thread in hand, we take a stroll through the district and look more closely at what we normally just pass by: colours, shapes, signs, statues, cobblestones, and facade details. All of this serves as inspiration for your own embroidery, which you'll stitch into a small textile notebook made from recycled materials. A cobblestone can become a pattern, an old sign a colour combination, a facade a few crooked stitches.

Artist Dorte Wahlberg guides the walk and shares ideas and techniques along the way. There are no right or wrong stitches - freestyle and experiments are welcome. No prior experience needed, just curiosity and a desire to make something with your hands.
