Four storytellers bring the oral traditions of the people to life, each with their own programme.

Elsebeth Elo tells a wandering story from Copenhagen's nightlife in the 1960s - about finding your way home after a wet evening in the city. Lilian Kingo brings the story of The Hen with the Soft Eggs and a small self-experienced (tall) tale. Nina Stenshøj focuses on Mette Marie Jensdatter, one of the storytellers recorded by Evald Tang Kristensen (ETK), and presents both one of her stories and the tale of Beauty, which ETK heard from Mariane Troelsdatter. Johs. Thomsen examines ETK in the context of Johs. V. Jensen's short story Ane and the Cow.
