Communal Dinner and Concert with Veronika Rud Trio

Communal Dinner and Concert with Veronika Rud Trio: Thursday 12 November 2026, 18:30–21:00, Viby Bibliotek, Viby J. Admission is free.

Jazz with presence and storytelling - Veronika Rud Trio with Casper Hejlesen and Carl Emil.

Veronika Rud is a singer and composer rooted in jazz, americana and neosoul. She draws from an acoustic jazz universe and writes music that combines strong melodies and personal narratives with a presence that also draws on folk and pop. Her Danish-language lyrics explore everyday moments and the emotions we share - the quirky, the vulnerable and the beautiful in the ordinary.

Since her debut with the EP "Mens jeg venter", Veronika Rud has established herself as one of the most exciting new names on the Danish jazz scene. The release went into rotation on DR P8 Jazz, and she has since received the Roager Prize, been nominated for a Danish Music Award Jazz and received five stars in Politiken.

The concert takes place in Salen at Viby Bibliotek.
