Viby Bibliotek opened in 1956 and was designed by architect Charles K. Gjerrild. It is a branch of Aarhus Bibliotekerne, situated close to Viby Torv. Besides its book collection, the library has a hall seating 150, used among others by the local theatre association, as well as a children's area, a Digital Café, and Borgerservice on the first floor.
