Værkstedet

Værkstedet is a creative community for adults where you can work on whatever you like. It is open from 3 to 6 p.m. on Thursdays.

You can bring your own project, but you are also welcome to use the venue's recycled materials such as fabric and books, as well as borrow equipment like a sewing machine, printing press, and scissors. Some Thursdays feature a workshop with inspiration and guidance for your own projects, but there is always the option to simply continue working on your own.

On the first Thursday of each month, Værkstedet is held together with Repair Café Åbyhøj, where you can get help repairing clothes and other items.

Værkstedet is located in the basement under Åby Library, with an entrance from the garden on the back side of the building (room KLUBB1).
