Elf Workshop with the Author of the 'Mirja' Books

Using the book 'MIRJA - The New Wings' as a starting point, we build small elf houses from moss, bark, leaves and other natural materials. While your hands are busy, author Gunvor Ganer Krejberg reads aloud from the first book about the elf girl Mirja.

In the elf workshop, there is room for imagination - there are no right or wrong ways to do it. The event is for children from 6 years old and their adults.

Gunvor Ganer Krejberg has written the books about the elf Mirja and about the friend pair Turbo and Trille. She has also been artistic director and teacher at the talent school UNIVERS, where young people work with text and images across disciplines; the school has published children's and young adult books since 2014.

The Mirja series is about friendship and courage, about fear and uncertainty, and about finding your own strength, even when you don't feel like the others. The second book in the series won an Orlapris for "most beautiful book to look at". The books can be borrowed from the library.

At the event, we sit at shared tables, but you are welcome to sit together with people you know. The chairs have no armrests. Read more about access conditions at Roskilde Library. Room: The Hall.
