Seed Library

Seed Library meetup: Tuesday 20 October 2026, 17:00–18:00, Langeland Bibliotek, Rudkøbing. Admission is free.

Are you interested in sharing seeds, growing experience, and the joy of gardening with others? Join a green community where both beginners and experienced gardeners are welcome - you don't need a green thumb to participate.

Perhaps you have seeds to share, or knowledge about plants and growing you'd like to pass on. Or maybe you're simply curious about helping create a new initiative on Langeland. Everyone is welcome.

A first meeting for interested participants was held previously to discuss the process ahead. Now more participants are being sought for the group that will together lay the foundation for the seed library - including deciding how it should work and setting it up at Langeland Library.

At this follow-up meeting, several of the considerations will be explored further. The community is still in its early stages, and there will be ongoing opportunities to meet, exchange experiences, and develop the seed library together.
