Haveforeningen plays blues and rock with joy, presence, and their own distinctive sound. The band's name draws inspiration from the atmosphere of a garden association: coziness, good times, and strong community bonds. Their music has roots on Amager, a place between Røde Mellemvej and Englandsvej, where the band's sound and interplay have developed.

The band consists of Mads Wegner on guitar, Henrik Askou on bass, Emil on drums, Sylle on harmonica and keyboards, and Niels on vocals and washboard. The five musicians enjoy playing together, and it shows in the way their blues and rock swing.
