Petruska's Christmas Heart at Brønshøj Kulturhus: Friday 18 December 2026, 17:15–17:55, Brønshøj Kulturhus, Copenhagen. Tickets cost 65 kr.
Petruska is busy with the final tasks in her fragrant bakery when a circus director orders a honey heart. This marks the beginning of a brown and burnt Christmas tale about the festive baker girl, her caring cake customer, a hungry circus mouse's self-service adventure, and a little elf's Christmas miracles.
Petruska's Christmas Heart is a puppet theatre performance with music and quirky humour, where the Christmas heart takes centre stage. Two performances are held at 16:00 and 17:15, each lasting 40 minutes.
Performing are Christian Adelhorst Rossil and Camille í Dali. Niels Grønne directs, and the script is written by Camille í Dali and Niels Grønne. Camille í Dali also handles composition, sound design, scenography and puppets, while Christian Q. Clausen is scenographic consultant and manages the mechanics. Costumes are made by Nadja, Viga V. E. Jensen and Camille í Dali, and René Lützen handles lighting design and technical aspects. The production is by Faster Cool.
Petruska's Christmas Heart is also available as an audiobook at Copenhagen Libraries.
