Lotte and her mother have moved to the countryside after inheriting her great-grandfather's house. While her mother is busy cleaning, Lotte is bored - with only her teddy bear Sangersøren for company. Then her great-grandfather's dusty old suitcase appears, and inside it lives a nisse.
