Hammel Bibliotek is part of Favrskov Bibliotekerne and is located inside the Kultur- og Sundhedscenter InSide, which opened in 1998. The centre brings together a library, health centre, gallery, café, bowling alley and open workshops under one roof. The library holds books, e-books, audiobooks and the town's local history archive, and also offers basic citizen services. Its programme includes author evenings, reading clubs and children's activities.
