Sensory Workshop
Solvang Bibliotek, Copenhagen · Free
Sensory Workshop for young children: Tuesday 17 November 2026, 10:30–11:05, Solvang Bibliotek, Copenhagen. Admission is free.
Franz and Debbie invite the youngest children into a sensory room where colorful curtains printed with nature patterns create a safe sensory experience.
In small and large suitcases hide tactile nature secrets, unpacked one by one. Along the way, you listen, feel, smell, and explore: What do rustling plant seeds sound like? How does sheep's wool smell? Can you play music on a potted plant? What do wet pine cones smell like, and can you draw with help from nature - or taste parsley?
There are two sessions: 9:30-10:05 for 1-3-year-olds (for nursery children) and 10:30-11:05 for 2-4-year-olds (for kindergarten children). Choose your preferred time via the ticket link.
The workshop is led by musician and illustrator Franz Bomberg and textile artist Debbie Kathrine Sørensen. In 2026 they are affiliated with Solvang Library through the project Nature's Fantasy / Fantasy's Nature, supported by Amager Vest Local Committee, Nordea Foundation, and children's cultural funds.
