Navratri 2026 - cultural celebration with Garba dance: Sunday 18 October 2026, 03:00–21:00, REMISEN, Copenhagen. Tickets cost 50 kr.

Namaste! FIIDA invites you to celebrate Navratri 2026, honouring the divine feminine power of the Mother Goddess - and with it, gender equality and feminism.

The programme begins at 15:00, with entry closing at 17:00, so arrive in good time. Between 15:00 and 16:45 there are various cultural activities: Chandi Paath, Navratri Havan & Yagna, Kanya Pujan, and cultural performances. From 16:45 onwards, Mother Goddess Aarti and Garba dancing follow. Traditional Indian dress is encouraged but not required.

Vegetarian food, chai, water, soft drinks, juice, and fasting-friendly meals are available on site. Dandiya sticks can be purchased on the day or brought from home. If you wish to offer fruit and sweets as prasad to the goddess, this is possible - but must be arranged in advance and delivered by 16:00 CET to be included in the ritual.

The event is alcohol-free, and tickets are non-refundable. Proceeds go to a selected charity. As this is a community event, please note that photographs and video will be taken during the event.
