A loose interpretation of Charles Dickens' classic 1843 story.

Scrooge is a man who loves money and cannot stand Christmas - until Christmas Eve, when a dream vision changes his view of life and the season. One actor carries the entire performance using objects, shadow play, and newly composed music rooted in Christmas hymns and songs.

The performance is aimed at children between 3 and 9 years old and the adults accompanying them.

About the venue: Hinnerup Bibliotek

Hinnerup Bibliotek & Kulturhus is an architect-designed combined library and cultural centre covering 1,580 m², designed by Hans Peter Svendler Nielsen of 3XNielsen in Aarhus. It opened in May 1993 and was renovated after a fire in 2002. Alongside its book collection and study spaces, the building houses Uhresalen, a room used for rotating art exhibitions, as well as spaces for talks, concerts and workshops. The centre is user-governed and part of Favrskov Bibliotekerne.
