Mushroom Exhibition and Bonfire Day with Food over the Fire

The forest is full of mushrooms - big and small, colourful and quirky. Bring your family on a discovery adventure and see how many different mushrooms you can find on the forest floor.

Children are often natural mushroom hunters, so we'll go together on a hunt for the forest's mushroom treasures. We'll look at shapes, colours and differences, and collect mushrooms for our own exhibition. It's not about finding edible mushrooms, but about being curious and exploring the diversity hidden right beneath your feet.

Once the exhibition is ready, we'll light a bonfire and round off the day with sweetcorn and cornbread cooked over the fire.
