Hinnerup Gets Its Own Cultural Event — Hinnerup Bibliotek, Hinnerup

SANS is a roaming cultural festival where participants in groups of up to 25 people walk through Hinnerup and encounter music, dance, poetry, art installations and local stories in unexpected places.

The festival takes place on Saturday, 26 September from 10:00 to 16:00 with departures every half hour from Hinnerup Library and Cultural Centre. Tickets cost 50 kr., and the tour takes approximately 2 hours at a leisurely pace. Children are welcome from around 5-6 years old. There are a few stairs along the way, so dress according to the weather.

SANS is the newest of Favrskov Municipality's five cultural festivals, which also include SYNG, SKAB, SKRÅL and KVAS. Each festival has its own theme and host town.

About the venue: Hinnerup Bibliotek

Hinnerup Bibliotek & Kulturhus is an architect-designed combined library and cultural centre covering 1,580 m², designed by Hans Peter Svendler Nielsen of 3XNielsen in Aarhus. It opened in May 1993 and was renovated after a fire in 2002. Alongside its book collection and study spaces, the building houses Uhresalen, a room used for rotating art exhibitions, as well as spaces for talks, concerts and workshops. The centre is user-governed and part of Favrskov Bibliotekerne.
