Makerspace for Beginners - 5-week course: Wednesday 21 October 2026, 14:00–16:00, Trekanten - Bibliotek og Kulturhus, Aalborg. Admission is free.
Want to try 3D printing, laser cutting, embroidery, and textile printing but don't know where to start? This 5-week course is your introduction to Makerspace.
Every Wednesday you'll get to know new machines, software, and techniques and try them out yourself. No prior experience needed - we start from the beginning. Over the weeks you'll work with vinyl cutting, 3D printing, laser cutting, digital embroidery, and textile printing, creating small projects to take home. After five weeks you'll know Makerspace, the safety rules, and workflows well enough to work independently with your own ideas during regular opening hours.
The course runs for 5 weeks with one session per week, every Wednesday from 14:00 to 16:00. Space for 6-12 participants. Participation is free, but you pay for materials yourself (approximately 0-50 kr.). Registration is required, and you must sign up for each of the five weeks separately.
The aim is to introduce new users to Makerspace culture, safety, software, and machines so that after the course you can work independently during opening hours.
